  • H. rosmarinifolia - Mountain Hovea, cool, shaded gullies in wet sclerophyll forest
  • H. pupurea var. montana - Alpine Hovea (photo)
  • H. linearis in Aranda bushland (FOAB, 1997) and in Canberra nature parks 'on stony hillsides in open forest.' (Fraser & McJannett, 1993:60)
