Geographic Overlays

The overlays change the presentation of the map on which the plant distributions are mapped. Each overlay adds more information but, not all overlays are available at all map magnifications.

States

Shows state borders, derived from 'Global Map Data Australia 1M 2001' developed by Geoscience Australia, National Mapping Division (formerly AUSLIG).

Lat/Long Grid

Shows the lines of Latitude and Longitude on the map at 10 intervals.

Major, secondary and minor roads

Show in more detail as you zoom in, derived from 'Global Map Data Australia 1M 2001' Geoscience Australia, National Mapping Division (formerly AUSLIG).

Localities

Show place names in more detail as you zoom in, derived from 'Global Map Data Australia 1M 2001' developed by Geoscience Australia, National Mapping Division (formerly AUSLIG).
